Brynlee Michelle

August 21, 2011 at 5:41pm Brynlee Michelle was born. She weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 21 inches long. It was a different experience than it was with Alivia, I went into labor at work about 11pm on the 20th. I got home and went to bed thinking it would go away like my other contractions had. I woke up at 5:30 had a couple contractions and went back to sleep by 730 that morning I was awake again and knew I was in labor. Finally at 3 that afternoon I thought I should go to labor and delivery to see how I was progressing. I was there an hour and my doctor said she would be there in 20 minutes to do my c-section. It went pretty well and miss Brynlee was born. She is beautiful and a joy in our lives and I am so glad she is here. Alivia is adjusting well to being a big sister and a great helper. We are so blessed to have such amazing girls!

camp without camping

So we went up for our day at camp with but I was not going to camp for the week or even a night. Matt and I only had one day off during the week together so we spent the day outdoors which was great. Matt did some fishing and Livy loved playing in the water. Brynlee and I just relaxed as my feet swelled more and more each hour but still had a good time. Our goal next year is to stay the whole week and I told Matt I will only do that with a trailer. Besides that life is going along. I am in my last month with this pregnancy and that is good with a dr appt every week and non stress tests twice a week and a monthly ultrasound I am exhausted not to mention caring for a toddler. But we will hang in there until she comes in a few weeks.

Easter pics

Way to long

Its been way to long since my last post so today is a day to update. We had a good but long easter. It was fun to see Livy actually doing her easter egg hunt at great grandma's house and then sunday was lots of visiting and an exhausting day for us both. As far as my pregnancy goes I look forward to the end. We found out we are having another girl and look forward to Brynlee Michelle's arrival. Pregnancy is very hard on my body but I just remind myself what we get in the end. My blood pressure with Alivia was high in the 3rd trimester only and that is why I had her the day we hit 37 weeks. This pregnancy it has been high since the day I got pregnant. The side effects have been hard to handle but I just want to keep her in there till 37 weeks since that is best then we will can have that lovely c-section. I just dont want her to come early even if its better for me because I know its best if she stays in there but we will take whatever comes our way. Each day I am grateful for an amazing doctor who I know has our best interest first. Livy is very excited for her sister. She loves to kiss my belly every day and being such a natural little mommy herself I am sure she will be a great help and love her sister. I am grateful to be a mom and look forward to spending time with both my girls. I am still working but hoping when July comes to just go down to one day a week from two. This will allow me maximum time at home and still help financially as I need to for Matt. All in all life is good here and we look forward to the coming months ahead.

baby #2

We went to the doctor last week for baby #2. It went well we had our little ultrasound and everything looked good so far. I will feel better when I get a little further but we are excited. I am technically not due till Sept 2 but with having a c-section I am scheduled right now for Aug 25. I wont go past 39 weeks but I am hoping to go that far since we had Alivia at 37 weeks unless they put me on bed rest again then I would love to have it sooner since I hate bed rest. So hopefully all will continue to go well as we go on another adventure in life!

1 Year Old!!!

It finally came! Our livy bug turned one year old!!! It was so fun and came so quickly. Although she had no idea what was going on she was happy she got cake and more toys. It was pretty funny as she was eating her cake we got her she had the giggles. She would look at her hands or one of us and just bust into that great belly laugh we love. A big sugar rush I guess. Although her being born was a long weekend and parts of it were a blur we were so glad she was born healthy. I was induced at 37 weeks and after 36 hours and only being at a 31/2 both her and my body went into stress and we had that lovely emergency c-section and at 9:44pm on January 30, 2010 our little girl was born. We were so grateful when she started to cry and go from being purple to just having purple hands and feet. We love her so much we cant believe it. She is a funny kid that most the time we just tell her she is kinda a dork but funny. Here are some things about you my little one year old I never want to forget.
1) you are already a natural mother as you can play with your dolls for hours.
2) Your favorite word is more and you are always asking for food:)
3) You are so smart when we show you something you pick up very quickly.
4) You are already up to about 10 words that you use on a regular basis
5) You love to be outside and out of the house just like dad.
6) You love music and even lead the music when you hear singing
7) You are quite the dancer and I cant wait to put you in dance
8) you finally sleep in your own bed most nights
9) You also love to say who's that and what's that all them time!!
10) We love you and cant believe you are ours and how much we can love you

1st play in the snow

We took Alivia for a play in the snow a few weeks ago so we could say she played in the snow her first winter. She loved it but then just wanted to eat it. She wasnt sure about the eating part but continued to do so. We had a good time and so did she I am so glad she liked it.

One year Pictures

We got Alivia's one year pictures done and I love them!

2 Year Anniversary

So yesterday was our 2 year anniversary. How quickly time goes. We had a great day. Alivia stayed with her aunt Brittany while Matt and I went out. We ate dinner at the Roof which was delicious and I was glad I was able to enjoy it. Then we went to a play at Hale Center Theater which was fun. After that we stayed most the night at Little America. Matt woke up in the middle of the night with a bad migraine so we left early but it was great. It wasnt as hard to leave Livy as I thought it would be. I dont know if I was just ready or had prepared myself for a few months that I really enjoyed it. Although I wont probably do it again for awhile. After we all got home this morning we had a nice 2 hour nap and life was good. I love Matt so much and look forward to the years to come.

One month to go till our little girl is one year old. I love being a mom and watching Alivia grow. Each day we are amazed at the things she can do. Here is where you are at this month our little livy bug..
1) You can say 9 words now
2) Everything is "hot, who's that and hi there", your most favorite things to say
3) You love to talk on the phone
4) You are a busy body who is happiest when there is a lot going on
5) You are getting better with strangers and saying hi rather than just staring at them
6) You now have 5 teeth
7) You are so happy even when tired and stayed up till 12:05 on new years
8) You finally sleep in your own bed every night
9) You think every dog is named Ike like grandpa's dog
10) We love you!!!
