So yesterday was our 2 year anniversary. How quickly time goes. We had a great day. Alivia stayed with her aunt Brittany while Matt and I went out. We ate dinner at the Roof which was delicious and I was glad I was able to enjoy it. Then we went to a play at Hale Center Theater which was fun. After that we stayed most the night at Little America. Matt woke up in the middle of the night with a bad migraine so we left early but it was great. It wasnt as hard to leave Livy as I thought it would be. I dont know if I was just ready or had prepared myself for a few months that I really enjoyed it. Although I wont probably do it again for awhile. After we all got home this morning we had a nice 2 hour nap and life was good. I love Matt so much and look forward to the years to come.
One month to go till our little girl is one year old. I love being a mom and watching Alivia grow. Each day we are amazed at the things she can do. Here is where you are at this month our little livy bug.. 1) You can say 9 words now 2) Everything is "hot, who's that and hi there", your most favorite things to say 3) You love to talk on the phone 4) You are a busy body who is happiest when there is a lot going on 5) You are getting better with strangers and saying hi rather than just staring at them 6) You now have 5 teeth 7) You are so happy even when tired and stayed up till 12:05 on new years 8) You finally sleep in your own bed every night 9) You think every dog is named Ike like grandpa's dog 10) We love you!!!
Merry Christmas! We had a good christmas and although I had to work christmas eve it was still enjoyable. We spent Christmas eve at Matt's grandparents christmas party. I was only there for a minute Alivia loved to be with all her cousins. It is so fun to see her play especially with so many kids so close to her age. Christmas was exhausting. I got off work at 1 am and got a little sleep before we got up to celebrate our own christmas at 6am. Then it was to matt's moms, matt's dads, and two other families homes. Tired was all we were by the end of the day. Alivia was so happy to have new toys and a lot of clothes. Matt and I enjoyed watching her experience her first christmas. We also took her to see temple square for the first time and it was awesome. We are excited to start the new year and look forward to her birthday next month. We love being parents its the best!
Well Alivia is 10 months old today and time is going so quickly! She got to have her first thanksgiving and even though Matt and I both had to work that day it was still nice to have a good meal. That night Alivia came down with a cold that we are still battling and that has not been to fun. I cant believe this coming month will bring her first christmas and the next month will be her first birthday. I love this time of year and am seeming to enjoy it even more with our little girl. Here is your past month milestones livy... 1) You are walking which in itself is an adventure and I love it 2) You finally say mama more thatn dada 3) Your favorite song is if your happy and you know it and we love watching you do the actions 4) You love the christmas tree we put up and leave it alone for the most part 5) You only got a roll for your first thanksgiving but it was still fun for you 6) You give loves (hugs) while saying aaaahhhh and we love your kisses 7) You have a beer bitter face that makes us laugh and I think thats why you do it 8) You have a little tunnel that you love to play in for hours 9) You discovered abby caddabby and she can always make you happy 10) We love you Alivia Kay!!!
I cant believe at 9 and a half months my little girl is growing up so fast and is able to walk! I guess I shouldn't be surprised she has always been determined, smart and not one to sit still. She took her first steps on November 12th and although she prefers crawling she will walk when we want her to. I love her so much and cant believe how time flys and am excited to watch it continue especially with the coming holidays and first birthday approaching. Lots of Fun!!!
